Das '''Utility DXers Forum''' oder UDXF in der inzwischen gebräuchlicheren Kurzform ist eine Online-Community von Radiohörern, die sich für die Signale von sogenannten Utility-Funkdiensten auf allen Frequenzen bis 30 MHz interessieren.

== Geschichte==
The '''Utility DXers Forum''' or '''UDXF''' is an on-line community of radio listeners who are interested in [[Shortwave Utility Stations|utility HF radio stations]]. UDXF was organized around a Yahoo! Groups mailing list by [[Ary Boender]] in 2006, after the demise of the [[Worldwide Utility News]] (WUN) club.  
Das UDXF entstand als eine Yahoo!-Groups Mailing-Liste, Anfang 2006 gegründet vom niederländischen Utility-DXer [[Ary Boender]]. Nach dem Aus des [[Worldwide Utility News]] (WUN)-Clubs trat das UDXF dessen unmittelbare Nachfolge an.


UDXF does not publish a monthly bulletin, however the reception logs sent by subscribers  are collated in one file and posted to the subscribers at the end of each month.
==Aktivitäten==
Im Gegensatz zum WUN-Club veröffentlicht das UDXF kein monatliches Bulletin oder Newsletter. Die von Abonnenten eingesendeten Empfangsberichte (Logs) werden jedoch in einer Datei zusammengefasst und am Ende eines jeden Monats den Mitgliedern zum Download bereitgestellt.


Aufgrund anhaltender Probleme mit den Yahoo!-Groups zog das UDXF im Verlauf des Jahres 2016 zum neuen Portal groups.io um. Seither erfolgt der Austausch der Mitglieder über dieses Portal.

Die Mitgliedschaft beim UDXF ist kostenlos, eine Registrierung ist aber notwendig. Die Mitglieder kommen aus der ganzen Welt, wobei sich der Großteil in Europa und den USA befindet. Im Juli 2010 gab Boender bekannt, dass UDXF 2500 Abonnenten erreicht hat.

About UDXF
UDXF is the Utility DXers Forum. The forum is centered around the exchange of news and information relating to "utility" radio stations and signals, below 30 MHz.
What kind of stations are covered?  Actually everything in the range of 0-30 MHz with the exception of Broacasting Stations, Pirate Stations, and Amateur Radio (with the exception of utility related activities).
If you are listening to the stations mentioned below, then UDXF is the place to be.
    Maritime stations, both coastal stations and ships
    Aeronautical stations, both ground stations and aircraft (voice, HFDL, Selcalls, Volmet, etc.)
    Space communications
    Military stations
    Beacons (NDB, Driftnet beacons, Propagation beacons, Pirate beacons, Hi Frequency beacons, etc.)
    Fax stations
    Numbers stations and oddities
    Radars (Over-the-Horizon-Radar, Ocean Wave Radar, etc.)

Das Utility DXers Forum oder UDXF in der inzwischen gebräuchlicheren Kurzform ist eine Online-Community von Radiohörern, die sich für die Signale von sogenannten Utility-Funkdiensten auf allen Frequenzen bis 30 MHz interessieren.

Geschichte

Das UDXF entstand als eine Yahoo!-Groups Mailing-Liste, Anfang 2006 gegründet vom niederländischen Utility-DXer Ary Boender. Nach dem Aus des Worldwide Utility News (WUN)-Clubs trat das UDXF dessen unmittelbare Nachfolge an.

Aktivitäten

Im Gegensatz zum WUN-Club veröffentlicht das UDXF kein monatliches Bulletin oder Newsletter. Die von Abonnenten eingesendeten Empfangsberichte (Logs) werden jedoch in einer Datei zusammengefasst und am Ende eines jeden Monats den Mitgliedern zum Download bereitgestellt.
